WWI US Model 1902 OFFICER DRESS SWORD with SCABBARD (Ridabock & Co. NY). The sword in the scabbard is about 39" long, the scabbard is about 33 1/4" long, the sword is about 37 1/4" long, the blade to the hilt is about 32 1/8" long, the width fo the blade is about 7/8". The center of the blade us marked U S, the opposite side is an eagle with wings spread and printed under the eagle is
E Pluribus Unum
. I am not an expert but I think for its age the sword is in good condition the blade is very ornate and bright a little patina spotting near the tip.
