    Description

    WWI U.S. Model 1917 Olive drab leather scabbard and Hangar.  Scabbard measures 18" overall and is for the Remington or Winchester Model 1917 Bayonet.  Leather shows age patina,wear, use, some surface leather loss, has a small slice on the side right. Leather stamped E.I.C. which are the correct inspector marks.  The Hangar appears to have some light markings on the top back area, but cannot make it out. Metal throat piece is a little loose. Stamped "GF" in a circle along with the point metal end. Scabbard and Hangar only, no bayonet See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
