WW 1 Model 1909 Bolo Machete marked Plumb PHILA. 1917 with leather scabbard 1918

Description

Up for bidding is an ORIGINAL WW 1 Model 1909 BOLO Machete made by Plumb Phila. 1917 it is in EXCELLENT CONDITION the bolo blade measures 14 inches it measures 19 1/2 inches over all. The blade is in excellent condition it has never been sharpened, the blade is stamped PLUMB PHILA. 1917 with an ordanance ball, on the other side it is stamped US 41698 the cross guard is nice and tight the handles are perfect, The leather scabbard is just as nice, it is in Excellent condition, it is 103 years old, the scabbard is well marked it is stamped LADEW 1918 with the inspectors initials C.H.W. the scabbard strap also has inspectors mark TH, Somebody inscribed on back of scabbard i can't make out all of it there is a name, and  LT..U.S. Army or Navy. cross guard has hole that fits into scabbard, This BOLO i think is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, But if you are not happy with my description just send it back, Good Luck Bidding.
