    R.I.A. Model 1905 Leather Bayonet Scabbard With Krag Type Hanger Marked 1909 H,E.K. This is one of the finest scabbards of this type I've seen. Metal is in great shape, hanger is tight and stops in the correct positions, stitching is as good as the day it was made, leather is excellent, Stampinga are clear with the manufacturer, date - 1909 - and the inspector's markings H.E.K. . The brass drain hole grommet is firmly in palace. It would be difficult to improve on this scabbard.
