Description

You are bidding on a WWI US M1917 Remington rifle or trench shout gun bayonet and scabbard.
The bayonet is 21 ¾ inches long and the blade is 17 inches.
The blade has a dull gray parkerization finish.
The blade has the factory slightly sharp edge.
It is marked US with the ordinance stamp, 29 and an X.
The other side is dated 1917, Remington.
The pommel is marked with the number 30.
The blade near the front and push button has a small amount of rust spots.
The grips are a walnut and are in good condition with no cracks or chips.
They do have scratches and small dings.
The scabbard is green fiber with metal end cap, marked US-M1917, B.M. CO.
The bayonet will also fit the M1917 Winchester or Eddystone rifles and the US trench shotguns with the proper adapter.
