    Description

Presented is a fine quality, Chinese export silver fish serving set made by C.J. & Co in the early 1900s. Both handles, the blade of the knife and the tines of the fork are guaranteed to be at least 900 purity silver. The handles are in a very Art Deco form, with a sort of column style. Each one has a nice monogram of the letter D. This style clearly indicates a production date from the 1920s or perhaps early 1930s.
These pieces can be used individually as well is together. They can also be used for serving much more than just fish.
Both pieces are marked CJ & Co, silver and have a Chinese character. Tested and guaranteed to be at least 900 purity silver.
This set is in great condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The knife measures 11 1/4 inches long, the fork measures 9 1/8 inches long. The handles are very thick and everything is quite heavy. The handles are hollow and there is no filler or weighting. All of the weight is silver. The combined weight of the pair is 292 grams or 10.3 ounces.
